One of my favourite routes. It is also great to test fittness.

A good route for a fast(ish) ascent.

You start in the town of Nice and work your way up the climb through narrow little roads. Once out of town, the road gets somewhat more boring. Later on, you will get to ride with a view on the sea.

Overall, it is a decent ride in its category, though there are similar rides in this category with better views on mountains and valleys. Still, a good one - I recommend.

One of the great climbs from Paris-Nice. Straight out of bed, it's a testing start, with the gradients kicking in right from the off. But it's a beautiful start to the day looking out over the Mediterranean and dreaming of Provence. Thanks.
