Located in the Odenwald, a low mountain region in the southwest of Germany, this route showcases some of Germany's best rural riding. Starting in the small "dorf" of Finkenbach the rider quickly finds themself ascending a small mountain to the town of Rothenberg. The climb is relatively steep and wooded, but just before Rothenberg it opens up to an amazing vista of the valley below. The route continues on the ridgeline following the twisty Landstraße 3410 to Beerfelden an old German town from the late middle ages.

    Awesome route! Begins in a small German village then there's a moderate ~15 min climb through a forest into another village. Then you ride a ridge around some beautiful hills for a while. Look forward to riding this one again.
