    Good to get a route close to home. Realistic; overcast, damp roads, good scenery and rubbish road surface in many places - all that was missing was rain. Thanks for putting this route up.

    Ah that was brilliant doing this route. This was my old stomping ground for Hill walking and motorcycling. Lived not far from the Campsie Fells and Lennoxtown Hills. Unfortunately never cycled in those days and always wanted to do it, so today I managed albeit on a trainer.
