Description of workout
Endurance training lies between 60% and 78% of one's FTP. A 90 minutes workout spent in this power zone is a time-efficient way to improve it.
From 6 weeks to 4 months should be spent building an aerobic fitness base to prepare for the season.
While training in this zone, one will improve one's muscular endurance, ensuring less fatigue towards the end of a long training ride or race, allowing for more intensity when required, and improved recovery afterward.
